“I’m not just an artist. I do prophetic music” -Bella Shmurda reveals

    Bella Shmurda, a Nigerian musician and composer, has disclosed that he sees himself as a prophetic artist.

    According to Bella Shmurda, in 2024 he intends to display more of his prophetic side.

    A documentary about Bella Shmurda’s personal life, including his rise to the the top of the music industry, his experiences as a parent, and his attraction to Ibadan, was documented during Tension Rave 2024 by WeTalkSound.

    During the discussion, Bella Shmurda talked about the motivations behind his yearly return trip to Ibadan. He says that since Ibadan welcomed him early in his career and offered him his first headline show, he fell in love with the city.

    • “I want to bring entertainment to Ibadan. I want people to know Ibadan,”

    Bella Shmurda reveals that he approaches music from a deeply spiritual place and shares insights into his creative process and inspiration sources.

    He revealed that he prays to God for inspiration before recording, which allows him to compose songs with prophecies.

    • “I’m not just an artist. I do prophetic music and this will be more in 2024,”

    Bella Shmurda said that having a child in 2023 inspired him to work hard so that he could leave a legacy for himself.

    • “I don’t want my son to grow up to say ‘My father used to sing’. I want him to turn on the TV and see his father”.

    Bella Shmurda talked about his path and the struggles that led to his fame. He related how he stole keke for financial gain.

    The singer was seen in the video, which went viral, thinking back on his path to fame and the challenges he endured.

    Bella Shmurda revealed that even though he tried a lot of different things, not everything worked out, which made him make bad choices.

    Bella Shmurda acknowledged that he stole a keke to get the much-needed money when he was struggling financially and had to make ends meet.

    The artist gave thanks to God for helping him get through those difficult times and for landing him a job in the field.
