“I’m not proud of abortion I did when I was younger” – Phyna finally tenders an apology to the general public

BBCelebrity Naija actress Phyna has expressed sorrow for having an abortion and has bemoaned receiving criticism and judgment for the procedure years ago.

Recall that a few months ago, the reality star revealed that she had an abortion and that she received a lot of backlash for both her disclosure and her opinions on the subject.

In a recent podcast with Doyin, Phyna said that she is not proud of her abortion and that she would retain the kid if she became pregnant again.

Phyna continued, claiming that the media had misrepresented her well-known claim that every woman has had an abortion in order to fit their narrative.

Phyna disclosed that she had undergone the abortion at the time she was about 20 years old said that the pregnancy at the time was a mistake and didn’t want it to affect her future.

She said:

“I didn’t want to talk about it [abortion] anymore because it is obvious a lot of bloggers try to twist my words to their satisfaction. This is something that happened a very long time ago, too young, as at then I think around 20 years, I knew I wanted to be somebody in life.

“It’s not something I am proud of, I mean nobody should be proud of that, but this happened while I was younger. I knew what I went through. Nobody knew what I went through, it’s not something I am proud of but let’s call a spade a spade.”
