“I’m the best player in football history – Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo has been hailed as the “most complete player ever” in the history of football.

The Portuguese superstar recently spoke with journalist Edu Aguirre from ‘El Chiringuito’.

Ronaldo, despite fans’ preference for Messi, Pele, and Maradona, deemed himself the most complete player in history, despite acknowledging that some may prefer other footballers.

Superstar footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has proclaimed himself the “most complete player ever” in the annals of football history.

In a recent interview with Edu Aguirre, a journalist from ‘El Chiringuito,’ the Portuguese icon addressed the question of whether he considers himself the greatest footballer of all time. While acknowledging that fans may favor legends such as Lionel Messi, Pele, and Diego Maradona, he asserted his belief in being the most well-rounded player in the sport’s history.

“I think I’m the most complete football player that has ever existed. People could like Messi, Maradona or Pele, and I respect it, but I’m the most complete. I’m the best player in football history. I haven’t seen anyone better than me in football history and I’m saying truth from my heart.”

Currently playing in the Saudi Pro League (SPL) for Al-Nassr, Ronaldo has secured five Ballon d’Or awards throughout his career, along with numerous titles including the Champions League, Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A.

The FIFA World Cup remains the sole significant accolade absent from his collection. He has, however, led Portugal to victory in the Euro 2016 and the 2019 Nations League.
