    Nigeria advanced to the 2024 AFCON final yesterday, February 8th, and as a result, a recent video showing the people of River State celebrating their victory cannot be ignored.

    The Super Eagles of Nigeria defeated South Africa 4-2 on penalties after the AFCON semi-final match ended 1-1 after extra time. Goalkeeper Nwabali’s saves were crucial in the victory.

    The people of goalkeeper Nwabali state, which is located in River state, took the joy of the Super Eagles’ victory over South Africa to a whole new level, as Nigerians and celebrities celebrated the news on social media.

    Following Nigeria’s AFCON semifinal appearance, Nigerians flocked to Stanley Nwabali’s father’s home in Rivers state, as seen in a video that has gone viral on social media.

    On Sunday, February 11, 2024, at 9 p.m., the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the host country will compete in the AFCON final.
