In Kano, Gov.Yusuf swears in 45 special advisers

In order to strengthen governance and increase the effectiveness of his administration, Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has sworn in 45 Special Advisers.

This was stated in a statement released on Friday by Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the Governor’s chief press secretary, according to Gistlover.

Tofa reported that the advisers took their oaths during a ceremony held on Thursday at the Africa House inside the Kano Government House.

The governor emphasized that the newly appointed advisers had been chosen for their qualifications, commitment, loyalty, and support of the party when he addressed them.

He said, “These appointments were made on the basis of merit, dedication, loyalty, and commitment, and the expectation that you will relentlessly contribute positively to elevate Kano State to even greater heights.

In addition to highlighting the administration’s unwavering dedication to the welfare of the state’s citizens and fulfilling its campaign-related promises, Yusuf emphasized the need for diligence in carrying out their duties.

Additionally, he emphasized the advisers’ critical role in providing high-quality advice on pertinent issues and working with other public officials and employees to ensure the smooth implementation of government policies and programs within the bounds of established regulations.

Civil servants, he said, “need to be dedicated, committed, and render selfless service towards developing our dear state and serving its people diligently. They are the heart of putting government initiatives into action.

Additionally, Yusuf reaffirmed the government’s commitment to fostering a favorable work environment for civil servants while emphasizing that salaries and entitlements were being promptly taken care of.

The governor continued by saying that his administration would not put up with truancy, laziness, or any other ambivalent behavior that might impede the delivery of quality services.
