In the Gidan Dembe neighborhood of Maiduguri, the state capital, Mrs. Amma Buwa, the daughter of Bukar Abacha, a member of the Borno State House of Assembly, was allegedly strangled to death by unidentified individuals.
Following the incident, which resulted in a halt to local activities, a sizable number of locals flocked to the scene in order to see what had happened to the daughter of the state legislator representing the Ngala Local Government Area.
The husband allegedly left the compound to attend prayers at a nearby mosque at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, according to a source who spoke with Vanguard.
His statement quoted the victim’s husband, who discovered the body in his home with her hands and legs bound behind her back and her two-year-old beside her weeping. The husband took the corpse to the police station.
The remains of the deceased would be buried in Maiduguri this morning, according to a family source (name withheld), who posted information about the incident on his Facebook page.
“Inna lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raji’un.”
