Nigerian actress, Wunmi Toriola has tackled the Reality TV star, Ka3na Jones over her recent tweet about actors neglecting movies and tilting their focus on influencing business.
Ka3na in Twitter post claimed that most Nollywood producers and actors had become brand influencers; hence there are no latest Nigerian movies on Netflix.
Ka3na opined that many of these Nollywood stars joined brand influencing because former housemates of the BBNaija show opened their eyes to know that brand influencing is a lucrative business.
She added that brand influencing is not a competition as she urged Nollywood producers and actors to make good movies for the Christmas holiday.
“Most Nollywood movie producers/actors have become brand influencers. No latest Nigerian movies on Netflix.
BBN housemates don open their eyes to influencing money. It’s not a competition. Y’all make us good holiday movies, please.” Ka3na tweeted.
This statement of hers have consequently triggered reactions from thespians and among those who have reacted is Wunmi Toriola who aired her view via the comment section of an Instagram blog.
Wunmi Toriola questioned Ka3na if she knows what it takes to build a brand and maintain it, especially those with a long life span.
She wrote:
“As much as i like the BBN show, some of these girls just think from their mouth, do you know what it takes to build a brand and still maintain it?
We are not talking about brand building whose life span is barely one year.
In your mind, you are a famous house mate ????”
