Nigerian rapper, Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike aka Phyno is in a celebratory mood, according to reports he just acquired a brand new Rolls Royce Phantom. The Indigenous rapper shared a picture of himself new car on his Instagram page.
31 year old Phyno is a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. He started his musical career as a producer in 2003. He is renowned for rapping in the Igbo language. His debut album No Guts No Glory was released in 2014. Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike (Phyno) was born and raised in Enugu State, though he is a native of Anambra State. His stage name Phyno, which is derived from the word ‘phenomenal’. He developed an interest in music production during his secondary school days. He initially wanted to become a pilot but was told that he could be a doctor.
Recently, A Nigerian lady has called out Phyno and some Nigerian artistes and berated them for what she saw as ‘misleading the Public’, the style of switching to Gospel songs right after promoting sexual Immorality in their videos.
Singers she specifically called out are Flavour, Zoro and Phyno.The Lady who goes by the name Ifeoma Vivian Emeka on Facebook said she found it disrespectful, that the artists were not fit to sing for God.
She wrote ;
“FLAVOUR ,PHYNO, AND ZORO, IF YOU WANT TO SING FOR GOD DO IT FULL TIME, ,,,,I FIND IT DISRESPECTUL AFTER PROMOTING SEXUAL IMMORALITY ON YOUR VIDEOS,,, ,,, THE NEXT MINUTE YOU ARE SINGING FOR GOD, GOD IS HOLY AND HIS PEOPLE ARE RIGHTEOUS, STOP MISLEADING THÉ PUBLIC,,YOU ARE NOT FIT TO SING FOR GOD.. #Endtime”
