INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu Reveals the Huge Amount Spent on dino Melaye’s Failed Recall

Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, today disclosed that the electoral commssion spent N100m on the failed attempt to recall Kogi-West lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye.

INEC chairman disclosed this while denying claims made by PDP that the commission spent N100 billion in the failed exercise.

Members of Dino’s Melaye constituency failed to turn out for the verification exercise to wrap up his recall last Saturday April 28th.
