The Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOP, on Monday, paid a visit to the Eastern Consultative Assembly, ECA, in Enugu, vowing never to give up on his agitation for Biafra. He was received by top members of ECA, including Maria Okwor, Rev. Fr. John Odey, among others. Kanu, also visited the Founder of the Igbo Youth Movement, IYM, Evang. Elliot Ugochukwu-Ukoh. While expressing his gratitude for the support showed to him by the two groups, Kanu said he chose the option of fighting to liberate the people of Biafra, and that there was no going back. “I have chosen the option that we must be free as a people; that we must be liberated as a race; and that we must have every freedom due to us, God-given, and I would not want to go to heaven to experience it; I want to experience it here. “I also want to say that the way our people came out to support this course, is something that will guide every step that we will take, and on this very difficult task. “I thank all of you that worked very hard, especially the Igbo Youth Movement; I must be specific, and the Eastern Consultative Assembly, and all the market men, market women, those that close their shops to see us, and all those who made efforts to ensure that I was not consumed. “I thank all of you; those who contributed to my being here today, because without your pressure, I don’ think I will be here. However, the work is not done yet, we need to finish it. “And like my brother Eliot remarked, we have those of us championing Biafra, and some others talking about restructuring of Nigeria. I have nothing against that, after all, that was all Aburi is all about, but I desire Biafra, I want Biafra, I want nothing else other than Biafra, I will not settle for anything else, other than Biafra. That was what I born to do, and that is what I will do til the day Biafra will come, that we may live as free men on this very earth, as the Most High God, Chukwu Okike Abiama, ordained it. While accepting his election as the Leader of ECA, he pledged to uphold the creed and ethos of the organisation, stressing: “I discharge my duties honourably; I would not fail you or anybody who has supported me. The task ahead is tough, but surmountable.” On the bail conditions given to him by the court, he described it as obnoxious and unconstitutional, vowing to challenge it in the days ahead. “On those we left behind, we are making effort to see that they come out, because they committed no crime. All we are seeking for is freedom; a return to the values we had before the advent of white men. A situation where people move their cows into our farms and slaughter our people, will no longer be acceptable.”

IPOB Messiah, Nnamdi Kanu ,  Spits Fire, Reveals Why He Ordered For Powerful Guns And Bullets From The Us Ahead Of Oct. 1st [Must Read].

The Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has revealed the reasons why he ordered for guns from the United States of America, US.

He made this disclosure during an interview with Adrian Kriesch, of German TV station.

He disclosed that he ordered for guns and bullets, for self-defense against the incessant attacks on Igbos, by the Fulani herdsmen.

The interview came barely a few weeks after a coalition of Arewa youths, ordered all Igbos residing in Northern Nigeria, to vacant the region, on or before October 1, 2017.

Kanu said: “I am sure you have heard of the Fulani herdsmen killing people all over the place. How do you intend to defend yourself against Fulani herdsmen without guns and bullets?

“They have been killing our people, r@ping our women, destroying crops in the farms, and no one does anything about it. Is that how human beings are supposed to live?

“Self-defense is recognized even by all the known laws at the UN.

“We are fighting for independence, not fighting physically with guns and bullets. We are fighting in terms of our agitations; we are fighting in terms of our belief; we are fighting in terms of our consistency, to ensure that we free, because we are not free.

“As a free people, we can afford to make life better for our people. Right now, we cannot do that because of how Nigeria is structured, and because of the flawed foundation Nigeria rests.”

On the referendum, he said: “If the government does not agree to that, there will be no elections in entire Biafra land. No more elections here.

“They can put whoever they like in office. They can do whatever they like with their political positions. We will not engage in any political process.”

On his detention, he said: “I was not treated fairly because in Nigeria, people behave like animals; they are not disciplined enough; they are not mentally developed enough to run a transparent civil society.

“They have a fiddle mindset, where you have the ruling class and a multitude of poverty-stricken people, who never utter any word in rebellion, or to even ask questions about their plight.

“That is one thing we are determined to challenge.”

He concluded by saying: “What we are asking the world to recognize is that we want to live in peace, and not in pieces. Allow Biafra to exist. We were existing before the British came. Just allow us to go back to what we were before.

“No African came to Europe to create countries. So, for somebody to just come in here and say ‘you, you, you, and you, from today your name is Nigeria, is simply laughable.”
