“Ireti is a first class mother and provider for her children” – Ex-husband, Patrick Doyle

Patrick Doyle, a veteran Nollywood actor, praised his ex-wife, Ireti, as a first-class mother.

Patrick revealed in a recent interview with QEDNG’s publisher, Olumide Iyanda, that he has no ill sentiments against Ireti following their divorce.

The 63-year-old also addressed a Facebook post that looked to be an apology to Ireti from 2018.

He said, “Ireti is a first class mother and provider for her children. She is taking good care of my daughter. How can I wish her ill? As far as mothers go, they don’t come any better. She provides 360 mothering care.

“As a man, it is my duty to say you don’t look happy. Responsibility for the stability of the home is that of the head of the home. So that was a bid to ease whatever the tensions were at the time,” he said.

Patrick and Ireti, 57, got married in 2004, but the actress confirmed their divorce in 2023.

The couple have five children together.

He conveyed his appreciation for the president’s actions in “curbing the exchange rate arbitrage that was benefiting the masses.”
