Former BBNaija contestant Deeone has initiated an open dialogue regarding the realities faced by participants after their time on the show.
In a recent video shared on social media, Deeone expressed his views on the difficulties that housemates encounter in their efforts to remain relevant and achieve success within the entertainment sector.
He pointed out that only a few individuals, including himself, Ebuka, and Bisola, have successfully maintained a significant presence in the industry. Deeone raised concerns about the sustainability of fame for other housemates, emphasizing that genuine influence extends beyond mere financial success.
The reality television figure noted that some contestants, such as Erica, Teddy A, and Laycon, had already established careers prior to their participation in Big Brother. While they may have gained from the exposure of the show, their achievements cannot be exclusively credited to it.
Deeone underscored that involvement in BBNaija can present both advantages and challenges.
The program provides unmatched visibility, yet it also fosters unrealistic expectations and considerable pressure. He remarked that the endeavor to uphold fame and relevance post-show is “difficult times 10.”
Deeone’s remarks have sparked an engaging discussion among fans, fellow contestants, and industry experts, with many contributing their own experiences and perspectives on navigating life after BBNaija.
