“Is this a sign of dementia or senility or Alzheimer’s?”-Reno Omokri Attacks Tinubu For Claiming He Brought Econet To Nigeria

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has condemned the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu for claiming he brought Econet (a communication network) to Nigeria.

Omokri in his reaction to the statement noted that former president, Olusegun Obasanjo brought Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) to Nigeria.

He further stated that Obasanjo was responsible for giving GSM licenses and insisted that Nigerians must be part owners of foreign telecoms.

Omokri wondered why Tinubu claims that he brought Econet to Nigeria.

The former presidential aide in a post on his Twitter account wrote, “Obasanjo introduced the GSM revolution. Obasanjo gave out GSM licenses. Obasanjo insisted that Nigerians must be part owners of foreign telecoms. Yet, Bola Tinubu now claims that he brought Econet to Nigeria? Is this a sign of dementia or senility or Alzheimer’s?”
