Rapper and singer from Nigeria, Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, better known by his stage name Skales, expressed grave concern over the nation’s growing problems and hardships.
Skales posted an open enquiry on his Twitter page, asking if anyone could help the administration come up with a workable plan to deal with the alarming situation.
Skales drew attention to the growing suffering that Nigerians endured, citing recent demonstrations around the nation where citizens expressed their annoyance over starvation and the skyrocketing costs of necessities.
Skales, an artist, expresses concern about what he sees as a deterioration in Nigeria’s state and warns that if the government does not act quickly to find and implement remedies, Nigeria may experience a financial collapse.
Nollywood star Tomiwa Tegbe addressed Skales’ worries by recalling the time during the campaign when an Igbo presidential contender had offered clear strategies for saving the country.
Tegbe stated, “Somebody articulately shared his solutions, they said he was Igbo.” after quoting Skales’ tweet.
