“It Is a Lie” – Wunmi, Mohbad’s Wife, Denies Reports That She Secretly Conducted DNA Test On Her Son

Wunmi, the late Mohbad’s widow, has responded to reports stating that she secretly did two DNA tests on her son, Liam, but ”can’t share” the results with the public due to the consequences.

SaharaReporters called Wunmi on Thursday, May 2, regarding the story, which she disputed.

She said, “It is a lie.”

Since Mohbad’s death, there has been debate about Liam’s paternity, with certain members of the public including her father-in-law Joseph Aloba requesting that a DNA test be performed on him.

Wunmi, the widow of late musician Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, formerly known as Mohbad, reportedly underwent two DNA tests to determine the paternity of their son, Liam.

Following Mohbad’s death, there was a dispute regarding the paternity of Liam, his sole child.

Joseph Aloba, the late singer’s father, has also clashed with his son’s wife, Wunmi, over the need for a DNA test to confirm whether Liam is actually his grandchild.

Joseph’s attitude has sparked emotions on social media, with some Nigerians backing him and others opposing him.

However, Nigerian writer Stella Dimoko Korkus has claimed that despite the social media frenzy surrounding the request for DNA, a prominent Yoruba Nollywood actress and Wunmi covertly underwent two DNA tests, with neither the results revealed to the public nor those around her.

She said, “According to inside sources, all the while that Mohbads father was crying for DNA test to be done, Wunmi aided by a popular Yoruba Nollywood actress secretly did a DNA test and the result of that first test prompted them to do a second secret DNA test recently and the result of that test is with the actress and insiders allege that the result might shock everyone.

“Sources wonder why the result of the two DNA tests have not been made public by the actress and allowing everyone to continue dragging Wunmi to do the test to save face.

“This is hoping that the DNA tests result will be made public to end all the drama that has shifted the focus of who or what killed Mohbad to if little Liam is his child or not.”
