Bella Okagbue, a former contestant on Big Brother Naija, has come forward to defend her relationship with Sheggz, responding to the criticism she has received from online critics.
Earlier, Bella had defended her partner’s fashion choices at the AMVCA awards, expressing that he looked fantastic and suggesting that Nigerians didn’t understand his style.
While some people praised her for standing up for him, others used social media to condemn her for “defending” him.
One Twitter user, Miss Suleiman, commented:
“All this defending won’t get you a ring on your finger. No offense.”
Nevertheless, Bella made it clear that not all relationships are meant to end in marriage. She made it known that she wants to savor every moment of her relationship and enjoy it without any regrets.
She also reminded the troll that she is only 26 years old and has a long life ahead of her.
In her words:
“Being an adult is realising that not every relationship will end in marriage but I’d be present and enjoy every moment of it.
The last I checked, I’m only 26 and still have my whole life ahead of me The only problem here is that you all are m d that I didn’t listen to your unsolicited advice when I left the house.
It’s been 2years, move on”
