A Nigerian lady who started her studies at the University of Lagos in 2012 has finally graduated after many setbacks.

She couldn’t finish with her classmates because she left UNILAG in 2014, two years after starting.

She mentioned that she was initially accepted to study computer science at UNILAG, but she did not complete the course.

Design Queen Ruqayyah posted on X that she left UNILAG, took JAMB again, and got back into the university in 2017.

She was admitted for a degree in estate management and graduated in 2024. Ruqayyah noted it took her 10 years to complete her degree, but she is thankful it finally happened.

She said; “2012 I gained admission to study computer science in UNILAG. 2014, I was withdrawn and it felt like life had ended. Wrote jamb twice till I gained admission again in 2017 to study Estate Management in UNILAG. It took me 10 years but I finally did it.”

In other news, Abel Damina, Senior Pastor of Power City International in Uyo, Nigeria, shared the anguish he felt when his youngest daughter, Jeiel, a well-known blogger and entertainer, was kidnapped.

In a widely circulated video, he recounted the intense worry he and his wife faced during her disappearance. Despite their heartache, they honored their commitment to speak at a church event, relying on faith to guide them through the fear of the unknown.

With a heavy heart, Pastor Damina preached through tears, holding onto hope until, miraculously, their daughter returned safely. He urged fellow pastors and the global Christian community to remain steadfast in their faith amid challenges.

Pastor Damina is married to Dr. Rachel Damina, and they have three children: Jemima, Jesimiel, and Jeiel.

He also reflected on the significant spiritual influence he had over Pastor Paul Enenche, General Overseer of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, during Enenche’s time at his church. *
