It was intentional- Toyin Abraham under fire over ‘contradictory’ movie role in ‘Gangs Of Lagos’

The role of renowned Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham in the popular film Gangs of Lagos has been the subject of drama.

In a viral video, Toyin Abraham bemoaned the 20 years of struggle Lagosians had endured under the direction of one particular political party.

The actress scolded the government angrily for failing to look after the state while parents were sending their kids abroad for safety.

She also alleges that the current administration used the children’s population to further their evil intentions and kept transferring public funds into their personal accounts.

Many are discussing the film’s role of Toyin Abraham, who is criticized for her support of the party and is said to have been in it for some time.

Toyin Abraham had publicly expressed her love for the Lagos State All Progressives Congress to win the election in 2023.

Toyi Abraham’s statement in the film is very similar to the public’s cries for change in Lagos State, where the All Progressives Congress has been in power for more than ten years.

Reacting to the actress’ role, many took to Twitter to express their displeasure. See below:
