It Was Tee Billz That Filed for Divorce Not Tiwa Savage

A clarification has been made following viral reports which claimed that Mavin’s act, Tiwa Savage, filed for divorce from her estranged husband, Tee Billz.

A source close to family told Cableng, that Tee Billz’s decision to relocate to the US for a fresh start after working with life coach, Lanre Olusola, was ignited by Tiwa Savage’s resolution to focus squarely on her career.

“Tiwa’s career was more important to her than TeeBillz’s wellbeing,” the source said, adding that: “He wants to move on and start life afresh”, hence, his decision to file for divorce.

The couple’s marital crisis made headlines, after Tee Billz embarked on a lengthy Instagram rant which led to an attempt to commit suicide. However, Tee Billz who is the CEO of 323 Entertainment was prevented from jumping into the Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge, Lagos by colleagues and bystanders.

Responding to his allegations of neglect and infidelity, Tiwa Savage granted an explosive interview, during which she accused of him of being unfaithful and living above his means to the point of getting into debt.

After the public exchange between both, tempers simmered and Tee Billz sought help for depression and mental breakdown.

Recall that Tee Billz had to testify on social media that all was now well with him, after he went through rehabilitation process in the hand of a seasoned life style coach, Lanre Olusola.

“The way I handle things now is completely different from how I acted in the past. “I do better now because I know better, and If I had gone through the experience before now, it probably wouldn’t make sense to me until I go through some challenging situations. “But I thank God that I have been able to overcome all those through the guidance of my coach” he said in an interview shortly after his rehabilitation.
