Tragically, the father of three boys and three of his colleagues died in a boat returning from a filming location. They were in Anambra State on Wednesday when they plunged into the Anam River.

This occurs a few days after Aderonmu Adejumoke, a gifted actress in the Nollywood industry, passed away suddenly.

Not only were his fans and business associates shocked by Junior Pope’s untimely death, but so were people like Funke Akindele, who is still mourning Adejumoke’s passing.

Funke sent a poignant tribute to Junior Pope on her Instagram story, expressing her shock at learning of his passing.
