“It’s a Sin”- Lady laments as church orders her to removes her wig and burns it

A Nigerian lady, @wealthy_dee001, has sparked outrage on social media after describing how a church burned her wig.

@wealthy_dee001 stated that she accompanied her mother to a religious service in their hamlet and was startled when they removed her wig.

Then they burned it and urged her to kneel and seek God’s pardon. The religion taught that wearing a wig was a transgression against God.

@wealthy_dee001 marveled that she had no notion wearing wigs was considered a sin in Nigerian religions.

She stated she was almost in tears. Her TikTok video grew viral, causing a discussion.
