Wunmi Aloba, the widow of the late musician Mohbad, has filed a N50 million pre-action notice against her father-in-law, Joseph Aloba, for defamation and libelous publications and social media posts.
The two had been at odds since Mohbad’s death. It began after Aloba wanted DNA from Mohabad’s wife, which she denied.
In a fresh twist, the pre-action notice requests an apology for everything Aloba has stated about her.
In a letter filed by her attorneys, the mother of one stated that her father-in-law agreed to interviews in order to earn cheap notoriety and public attention.
Some of Joseph Aloba’s disparaging words were quoted in the letter. One of these was his interview with Westo Adejumo Adekunle on African TV, in which he claimed to have a deep animosity for his late son’s widow.
Take note that Mohabd’s father had dared Wunmi to reveal everything she knew about his late son’s death. He also accused her of doubting his paternity with the late musician.
Netizens have responded to the lawsuit brought against Aloba. Here are some of the comments below.
