Sophia Momodu, the first baby mama of renowned Nigerian singer, Davido, has put their long-standing beef aside to celebrate their daughter’s birthday.

In an Instagram post on Sunday, May 14, 2023, the ever-dotting mother expressed her gratitude to her creator for being faithful to her.

Sophia noted that her daughter’s birthday coincided with Mother’s Day, making it a double celebration.

She expressed her joy at this and further noted that she couldn’t be more thankful.

“It’s my daughter’s 8th time around the sun…. It’s also Mother’s Day today & I couldn’t be more thankful. God has been too faithful to fail. Happy Birthday Imade! I love you so much kiddo,” she wrote.

Sophia’s post came as a surprise to many, given the bitter history between her and Davido.

The duo has been at loggerheads over the years, with each party throwing jabs at the other on social media.

Imade Adeleke, their daughter, turned eight years old on May 14, 2023.

The little girl is the first child of Davido and Sophia, and she has become a public figure in her own right, with a growing fan base on social media.

As of the time of writing this report, Davido is yet to comment on the post or publicly wish his daughter a happy birthday.

Nonetheless, fans of the singer have flooded social media with congratulatory messages for Imade and Sophia, commending the latter for her maturity in putting their differences aside for the sake of their child.
