EvangelistEbuka Obi has expressed his conviction that it is inappropriate for a man to purchase a car for his wife if he has not first acquired one for his mother.
Addressing his congregation, Evangelist Obi remarked that a man who chooses to invest in a vehicle for his wife before considering his mother is “a fool at 40.”
He elaborated that prior to allocating funds for a car for his wife, he is reminded by his conscience of the numerous sacrifices his mother made in his upbringing, long before he ever met his spouse.
The pastor underscored that a mother is typically more inclined to make sacrifices for her children than a wife may be for her husband.
He said: “It’s very Wrong to Buy a car for your Wife before you buy one for your Mother, your mother has been there for you since you Where a baby and your mother can lay her life down for you but your wife can’t, your wife’s eyes is on your property”
