ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the spokesperson for the Nigeria Police service, has stated that he has never accepted a bribe from a Nigerian since joining the service.

On Monday, Olumuyiwa made this vow in response to an X user who asked him to swear by his local deity that he had never accepted a bribe since joining the Nigerian police force.

The verified user asked the question after Adejobi asserted that bail is free and that Nigerians should never pay money to secure someone’s bail.

The individual then inquired of Adejobi whether he had ever been involved in bribing.

Adejobi stated that he has never accepted a bribe since entering the police service in 2005.

He further disclosed that he is a crowned prince of Owu so it would be “ridiculous” for him to accept bribe.
