Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has extended heartfelt appreciation to fans and industry colleagues following the grand premiere of her debut cinema film, Labake Olododo.
The much-anticipated epic movie premiered on Sunday, March 23rd, at IMAX Cinemas in Lekki, Lagos. With the theme “Channel Your Inner Warrior”, the event drew an impressive crowd of A-list celebrities and film lovers, making it one of the most star-studded movie premieres in Nollywood history.
In attendance were popular figures such as Ruth Kadiri, Funke Akindele, Toyin Abraham, Chioma Good Hair, Odunlade Adekola, Woli Agba, Kiekie, Ibrahim Chatta, Ronke Oshodi, Saidi Balogun, Sola Kosoko, and many more, all turning up in vibrant themed outfits to support their colleague.
Following the successful event, Iyabo Ojo took to Instagram to share her emotions, revealing she was deeply moved by the overwhelming show of love and support. She expressed her gratitude for the massive turnout and the warm reception the film received.
“I’m still in awe of the love I received,” she wrote. “Thank you to everyone who came through to celebrate this milestone with me. I appreciate you all from the depth of my heart.”
Labake Olododo marks a significant milestone in Iyabo Ojo’s career, showcasing her growth not only as an actress but also as a filmmaker.
“I’m still overwhelmed by the incredible show of love and support at my movie premiere yesterday. The massive turnout, enthusiastic response, and outpouring of love were humbling.
