David Olaniyi Oyedepo, the presiding bishop of the Living Faith Church worldwide, has urged Nigerian youth to seek divine guidance rather than hastily leaving the country without first consulting God.
He emphasized the importance of relying on God’s direction for achieving success, cautioning against the temptation to impose their own plans without divine consultation.
This message was delivered during the impartation service at the church’s Annual Youths Alive Convention (AYAC2024) on Saturday, August 17, as reported by Vanguard.
The esteemed religious leader highlighted the challenges of living in a tumultuous era, advising young people to find solitude in order to truly listen to God’s voice.
“Don’t pack your bag and ask God if you should go. Don’t tempt God. Asked God for his plan because his plan is already blessed.
“You need an ornament of a quiet and meek spirit to hear God speak. One must be in the spirit to hear the voice of the spirit, and one must be spiritual to embrace the voice of the spirit.”.
