Ruth, a controversial X influencer, has called out Nigerian artist Oluwajuwonlo Iledare, also known as Jaywon, for releasing a new album.
She was outraged with the singer for releasing a new album titled ‘Evergreen’ during the #EndBadGovernance rallies taking place throughout Nigeria.
Ruth took to X and contrasted Jaywon’s actions to those of female artist Tems, who postponed the premiere of her music video as the demonstrations began.
She gave the ‘This Year’ crooner 24 hours ultimatum to take down his album from all streaming or he will be canceled in the industry. She wrote;
“Due to #EndBadGovernaceInNigeria, Tems canceled dropping her video na Jaywon get mind drop Evergreen album because e no send us or what ? Jaywon has 24hours to remove the album on all platforms or we cancel him.”
