Veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko has shared a startling real-life experience involving a man disguising himself as a masquerade to visit another man’s wife. The legendary actor made this revelation during an interview with actor and producer Seun Oloketuyi.
Kosoko Mediated the Dispute
According to Kosoko, he personally intervened to resolve the matter between the aggrieved husband and the so-called “masquerade.” While he did not reveal further details about the resolution, he emphasized that such incidents are more common than people might think.

“I have witnessed an Egungun (masquerade), a person from Ekun, going into another man’s house to have a good time with his wife. I was the one who resolved the issue. But if such a scenario were to be shown in a movie, some people would see it as an idea they could replicate. They might think, ‘Oh, because nobody questions an Ekun person, I can do this too.’”
