A 37-year old jilted Nigerian man, identified as Shinugande Victor has been reportedly arrested by the Lagos state police command for allegedly sharing his estranged lover’s unclad photos on the internet after their relationship crashed in Lagos.
It was learnt that apart from sharing the unclad photos with all the contacts the victim had on her phone on the internet, he also threatened to kill her at the Police Highway Patrol Barrack in Ikeja where both the suspect and the victim resided, according to P.M.EXPRESS.
According to police sources, it was gathered that the victim jilted the suspect after she decided to end their relationship and informed Victor of her decision, however, the suspect who kicked against the decision pleaded with her to no avail. Then in revenge, he resorted to cheap blackmail by threatening her in order to win her back but when his threat did not old water he reportedly shared her unclad photos online.
After which the matter was reported to the police who immediately arrested and detained him at the police station where he reportedly denied the allegation. But however, during the course of investigation Victor reportedly admitted that he shared the unclad photos online because the victim broke his heart.
He was then charged before an Ikeja Magistrates court for the alleged offence, but after pleaded not guilty, the presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O. Osunsanmi granted him a bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum, while ordering that he should be remanded in prison custody pending the time he will perfect his bail condition while adjourning his case till 1st of February, 2018.
