He showed visitors the work being done at the late actor’s residence, emphasising the preparations for Junior Pope’s burial.
He stated that the late actor was from Ukehe in the Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area of Enugu State, where the mansion is located.

Junior Pope sadly died in a fatal accident alongside 4 other crew members while crossing Anam River on 10th April in a bid to continue work on a movie project.
In other developments, the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) refuted claims that actress Mercy Johnson was involved in the boat disaster that killed Junior Pope and others.
Mercy Johnson was not engaged in the boat tragedy, according to a statement made on Wednesday, May 8, by the guild’s secretary, Abubakar Yakubu.
According to the statement, one of the survivors, Thank God Ikoma, mentioned one Emeka who once served as Mercy Johnson’s personal assistant during a recent thanksgiving service, and many assumed he was referring to the actress because Emeka is popularly known as “Emeka Mercy Johnson”.
