Nollywood star Ruby Orjiakor recently received a touching visit from the family of her late friend and colleague, Junior Pope. Junior Pope tragically lost his life in a boat accident on April 10, along with four other crew members, on the Anam River in Anambra state.
His funeral took place on May 17 in Uwala Abaka, Ukehe, Nsukka, Igbo-Etiti local government area of Enugu state.
Ruby, along with other celebrities, was visibly emotional during the funeral, reflecting the impact of the loss on the industry.
During the visit from Junior Pope’s family, they expressed their gratitude for Ruby’s support and friendship with the late actor.
His sister, on behalf of the family, shared a warm hug with Ruby, reminiscing about the bond they shared and thanking her for her comfort during their time of grief.
Encouraged by the family, Ruby was urged to stay positive and return to her vibrant self. Grateful for their visit, Ruby expressed her appreciation for their kind words and gestures.
