A private jet owned and managed by by Flint Aero, made a crash landing at Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Friday night, LEADERSHIP has learnt.
Adebayo Adelabu, the minister of power, and a few of his assistants were on board the HS25 plane.
According to reports, the plane took off from Abuja Airport at approximately 6:41 p.m. for Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, and crashed into the jungle while attempting to land at approximately 7:21 p.m. near the Ibadan airport runway.
According to a source, the aircraft’s pilot had been given the all-clear to land before the event occurred, however all occupants and crew members were evacuated safely.
The aircraft had significant damage, the person continued.
