Veteran fuji singer King Wasiu Ayinde Mashal, known as K1 de Ultimate, has posted photos of his children who attended the Fidau prayers for his late mother, Halimat Abike Anifowoshe (nee Akeredolu).

Fidau prayers are typically held for a Muslim who has passed away seven days after their death. K1’s mother, who was 105 years old, died on Saturday, January 18, 2025. The musician posted a photo of his five daughters and one son dressed in white outfits and green ‘geles’. He also wore a white outfit while posing with his children in the picture.

Some fans noticed that his youngest daughter in the picture resembles his late mother, while others offered their condolences for her passing. K1 has children named Iluyomade, Halima Elele, Melissa Akanke, Sawatul Arafat, Anjolaoluwa Abike, and Damilola Basirat.

The Fuji music star was overwhelmed with emotion during his mother’s burial on Saturday, January 18, 2025. He cried and received comfort from his family, friends, and wives, who each took a moment to help him dry his tears.
