Karl Malone was a professional basketball player in his youth. He was nicknamed “the Mailman” and was widely recognized as one of the best power forwards in NBA history. Karl Malone also attended Louisiana Tech University. He played for Louisiana Tech for three seasons, assisting the Bulldogs in 1984 in their historic first NCAA tournament appearance. He additionally contributed to the team’s victory in the Southland Conference in 1985.
The gifted player was chosen by the Utah Jazz in the first round of the 1985 NBA Draft. Every season of this player’s career, he participated in the playoffs. This also applies to the NBA Finals from 1997 and 1998.
