Katsina: Northern Groups Joins #BringBackOurBoys Protest.
The Members of the Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) are already in Katsina State to protest government’s failure to rescue the hundreds of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State.
They are expected to start protest today at the state Capital, Katsina with the hashtag #BringBackOurBoys. The protesters will thereafter head to Daura to express their concerns to President Muhammadu Buhari, who is still in town.
Meanwhile, recall that the CNG security meeting held on Monday in Kaduna was disrupted by some miscreants.
The CNG spokesman Abdul-Azeez Suleiman said the attacks would not stop them, and that they would meet with others to continue calling for the release of the Kankara children, quickly, alive and in good health.
Suleiman said the CNG was aware of the mobilization of police officers in Katsina State and called on the officers not to try to stop their legitimate protests, which would be peaceful.
