Keep Faith With Tinubu’s Govt – Presidential Aide Begs Nigerian Youths

  • Rinsola Abiola, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Citizenship and Leadership, has encouraged Nigerian youth to trust in the government led by President Bola Tinubu.
  • She stated that the administration is dedicated to resolving issues that concern young people.

Rinsola Abiola, who serves as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Citizenship and Leadership, has called on Nigerian youth to place their trust in President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

She assured them that the government is focused on addressing youth-related issues.

Abiola, the daughter of the late MKO Abiola, remarked that Tinubu has consistently shown his support for young people, both during his campaign and in his actions since taking office. She shared these thoughts on Monday at a Ramadan lecture and Iftar organized by the Rinsola Abiola Foundation for youth in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Abiola stressed that the Tinubu administration is committed to creating opportunities for young people and ensuring their voices are included in decision-making. She cited the recently established National Youth Conference, of which she is a member, as a testament to the President’s commitment to engaging young Nigerians in governance.

Abiola also noted that the conference committee is inclusive, featuring representatives from civil society and individuals not associated with the ruling All Progressives Congress.

“I ask you to keep faith with this administration and trust that, as youth representatives serving within it, we are not unmindful of young people’s agitations.

“We understand the challenges and are working to protect youth interests.

“For the very first time, we have a truly young youth minister prioritising issues that concern young people. We are also working on the Student Loan Fund, which will help ensure a level playing field for all,”

“Thankfully, we have a president who is himself youth-friendly and understands all too well the need to empower young people,” she said..
