Popular Nigerian investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has demanded a public apology from Nigerians after Lagos State’s verdict on Sylvester Oromoni’s case.

Recall that when the case of Sylvester Oromoni came out, Kemi Olunloyo made a controversial statement about his death. According to Kemi, the 12-year-old Dowen college student, was not bullied.

 “LATE SYLVESTER OROMONI was NOT BULLIED‼️ Evidence is clear Mr. Uche. No time for sentiments. Time to defend media freedom. Every single case I’ve done in Nigeria has been proven CORRECT,” she tweeted. Her comment caused a stir and attracted a lot of insults from social media users.

In a new development, Lagos Stae Government in a report has cleared the five Dowen College students and five staff of allegations linking them to the death of Sylvester Oromoni.

It was revealed that the Toxicology test carried out on the late Sylvester did not show any act of murder perpetrated against him.

Reacting to the piece of news, Kemi Olunloyo has taken to her Twitter page to demand an apology from Nigerians for the insults hurled at her over her comments over the death of Slyvester.

“STOP THREATENING ME. I’m an investigative journalist and always vindicated in my investigations even preliminary. All of you need to apologize to me. Without journalists, your story has no mission”.
