Kemi Olunloyo Reveals How Tony Elumelu’s Actions Triggered Wizkid’s Explosive Rant Against Davido

Kemi Olunloyo, a self-proclaimed investigative journalist known for her controversial commentary, has entered the heated feud between Afrobeats giants Wizkid and Davido. The ongoing rivalry has intensified due to Wizkid’s recent provocative remarks, which have sparked widespread discussion online.

In his latest social media outburst, Wizkid directly attacked Davido, questioning his claim to the title “001” and mocking the legitimacy of such a label. He didn’t stop there, though. Wizkid went on to criticize Davido’s entourage, suggesting that the singer surrounds himself with individuals who rely on him financially, which further fueled the drama between the two artists.

Amidst the escalating tension, Kemi Olunloyo shared her thoughts on October 3 via her TikTok account. In her analysis, she expressed surprise at Wizkid’s harsh comments, suggesting that he wouldn’t usually engage in such confrontational behavior unless significantly provoked. She firmly placed the blame on Davido, indicating that he may have pushed Wizkid to his breaking point.

Kemi then introduced a new perspective, pointing to billionaire entrepreneur Tony Elumelu as a central figure in this unfolding saga. According to her, the root cause of Wizkid’s anger lies in Davido’s alleged interference in a performance opportunity at the prestigious 75th UBA anniversary event, organized by Elumelu.

She claimed that the gig was initially meant for Wizkid, but Davido allegedly took over the opportunity, which left Wizkid feeling betrayed and overshadowed. This perceived slight, Kemi argues, is what triggered the Machala star’s fiery response and has since fueled the feud.

Kemi’s analysis sheds light on the deeper issues of rivalry, competition, and betrayal that are often present beneath the glitz and glamour of the Afrobeats world. Her insights paint a vivid picture of how professional ambitions and personal grievances can ignite public spats, turning these two Afrobeats icons into fierce adversaries.
