Maliha Mohammed, a chef from Kenya who has twice broken the record for the longest cooking marathon, is back to take on Hilda Baci.
The Kenyan chef made a social media announcement stating that she would be breaking the record for the longest cooking marathon in August.
A short while ago, Hilda Baci made news for setting a new world record by cooking for 100 hours on Monday, May 15.
Kenyan chef claimed that she had smashed the record twice in a row, in 2017 and 2019. Maliha broke the record by cooking continuously for 72 hours in 2018 and 75 hours in 2019.
She went ahead to reveal that she will be smashing another record, ‘home kitchen cooking marathon’ by November.
Famous Liberian chef Wonyean Aloycious Gaye has apparently been cooking for seven hours straight in an effort to break Nigerian chef Hilda Baci’s record.
Lata Tondon’s record for the longest cooking marathon in the Guinness World Records had been surpassed by Hilda Baci.
Everyone is attempting to surpass the pace that the Nigerian cook has set or at least to test her.
The renowned chef Wonyean Aloycious has traveled for seven hours to challenge Hilda, according to a post by Liberian Music Industry.
“Famous Liberian chef Wonyean Aloycious Gaye says he’s ready to challenge the Nigerian lady, Hilda Baci. He has already gone 7 hours to catch up with Hilda. We can break her record”, the post read.
