Festus Keyamo, Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development made courtesy call to the National Assembly
Keyamo wrote on Thursday via his official X handle that he had visited the house and senate chairs of the aviation committees, Hon. Akpatason, Peter.
The minister reported that he had extremely productive talks with the lawmakers about problems impeding the aviation industry’s growth.
Meanwhile, the minister visited the Caverton Helicopters in Lagos State.
Keyamo said he visited the business last Sunday and examined its cutting-edge Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility in a post made on his verified X (previously Twitter) account.
Keyamo disclosed that encouraging and supporting local operators is one of the ministry’s goals. Using the company’s state-of-the-art helicopter simulator, the minister added, he received a crash course in helicopter flying.
