Khloe Kardashian has recounted her rehabilitation path following the 2022 revelation that the little lesion on her face was actually a cancerous tumor.
Khloe first exposed the lump on her face in October 2022, when fans observed she was often hiding it with bandages.
On Wednesday, September 20, 2023, the reality star confirmed that she had the tumor removed via images on her Instagram account. She commended the doctor for doing an amazing job of minimizing the scar on her face.
She wrote:
“For those who don’t know I had a skin cancer scare on my face, my angel @garthmd is who I trusted with removing the tumour. Doctor Fischer is out of this world fabulous not only did he remove the tumor and make sure that I’m completely cancer-free but he did such a stellar job of making my scar as small and beautiful as possible.”
Khloe further claimed that the tumor removal left her with a deformed-looking appearance on her face.
She added that she had begun fixing the indentation after receiving permission from her doctor. She also shared before and after images to show her development.
In addition to thanking her doctors, the socialite used the occasion to encourage her fans to pay attention to their bodies and get regular checkups.
She wrote in another post, “I never imagined that this tiny speck would turn into skin cancer and I can’t fathom what could have possibly happened had I not gone to the doctor to get it looked at paying attention to our skin and any changes in our skin and body no matter how small is so important.”
