Kim Kardashian has reportedly experienced a decline of approximately 150,000 followers following her Instagram story post featuring First Lady Melania Trump on inauguration day.

The reality television personality, who boasts around 358 million followers on Instagram, attracted significant attention online after sharing an image of the First Lady adorned with a wide-brimmed hat during the inauguration ceremony. An analysis conducted by the influencer marketing agency Socially Powerful revealed that Kardashian’s follower count decreased by 144,963 since the photo was shared.

Additionally, Kardashian lost 9,553 followers on X, the platform previously known as Twitter, in the wake of this post, according to the same analysis by Socially Powerful.

The post elicited negative reactions from some of Kardashian’s Instagram followers, with one commenter stating: “girl…. sold out for far right maga propaganda.”

Another follower remarked, “Well at least we can see exactly who you are,”
