On Saturday, November 11, 2023, the governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello, cast his ballot in the Okene Agassa, Okene local government area of the state.
Under heavy security, Governor Bello carried out his civic duty in his local government area (LGA).
According to a report seen by the Legit.ng correspondent on Arise News TV, the governor was joined in what appeared to be a smooth process in the area by his spouse, who also cast a ballot, and additional security officers.
After today’s exercise, the governor is happy to transfer authority to Usman Ododo, his preferred candidate, even though he will not be running for office again.
He didn’t specify who he voted for, though.
