Kuda Bank, a mobile banking service, has awarded a sum of 2 million naira to a Nigerian woman named Debbie, who recently gained popularity on social media for waking up so early to cook for her husband.
The news was announced on the bank’s official Twitter handle.
This gesture comes shortly after Debbie shared that she had started waking up early to cook for her husband, prompted by a coworker who had previously brought him food at his workplace.
Debbie has received a TV, a new fridge, a microwave, a bed frame, mattress, a wardrobe, an iPhone, and an Infinix mobile phone since her announcement.
In the midst of all of this publicity, Debbie’s mobile bank, Kuda Bank, has vowed to match the exact amount now in her account.
The bank stated on its official page, “As your bank, we’re happy to match the ₦2,044,133.94 balance in your screenshot. Keep doing you, Debbie!”
