The need for young people to surrender themselves to God especially at the break of a new decade in order for them to excel in life has been stressed. The call came through at the ongoing YOUNG ADULT SUMMIT organised by Deeper Life Young Adult New York; a youth arm of The Deeper Life Bible Church in Brooklyn New York.
Earlier the host Pastor, Pastor David ABBA in his welcome address says ” As we enter into a new decade God wants to do something new, powerful, dramatic and dimensional in the lives of young people.”
He also said that ” young people must be willing to surrender and draw near to God. Adding that “Coming to Church is great, but a relationship with God is the best”.
The event which has it theme as the SURGE 2020 and it theme verse from John 7:38 ” He that believeth on me as the scripture hath said , out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” started 13th of March and will climax 15th March 2020.
Highlights of the Summit are the Financial and Career Panel, Marriage panel and the Parents/Child Connection in a Zen Generation.
Aside the Host Pastor ; Pastor David ABBA , other Men of God who spoke at the Summit are Pastor Joshua Oyeniyi, Pastor Stephen Adeyemi,Pastor Osarenkho , and Pastor John Kumuyi who is the Son of the General overseer of Deeper Life Bible Church ; Pastor WF Kumuyi.
