Kunle Remi’s Biography

His full name is Oyekunle Opeyemi Oluwaremi and he was born on the 18th of October 1988 to Engr. Joseph Oluwaremi and Mrs Omolara Sherifat Oluwaremi in Gboko, Benue state.

Kunle Remi was raised in a Christian home alongside five other siblings; he is from Ekiti state but was born in Benue state and grew up in Ibadan, Oyo state.

The Nollywood actor is a Nigerian by birth and he would be 33 year old in October 2021.

Education

Kunle Remi had his primary and secondary school education in Ibadan, Oyo state. He would later gain admission to study Fisheries and Wild Life Management from the University of Ibadan.

His course of study was not related to his current profession, and because of his love for acting, Kunle Remi proceeded to New York Film Academy, where he studied acting and graduated in 2014. He would later return to the same academy for filmmaking and directing and graduated in 2015.

Career

Kunle Remi has been interested in acting since when he was a child and was part of his church drama group while growing up. During his NYSC service year, Kunle was part of the drama group on camp in Iseyin, Oyo state.

He made it to the limelight after he emerged the winner of the Gulder Ultimate Search 7th Edition in 2010. After that he went on to pursue acting as a career in 2011.

Over the years, Kunle Remi has features in movies and tv series like Tinsel, Family Forever, Lagos Cougars Reloaded, The Getaway and many others.

Aside from acting, Kunle Remi is a model and landed his first modelling job with ISIS models and has gone on to work in ad campaigns for top brands.

Personal life

Kunle Remi is not married; however, years back there were rumours that he was in a relationship with actress, Adesua Etomi, who is now Banky W’s wife.

He would later come out to debunk the rumours as he revealed he never dates Adesua as the two only acted in a movie titled Falling in 2015.
