Annie and Walker have four children together and have been attempting to mend their fractured relationship over the past year.

The mother of four is believed to have sought preliminary legal counsel in anticipation of a potential separation, which could entitle her to half of the £150,000-a-week star’s wealth.

A source informed The Sun, stating, ‘It’s a s***show at the moment. Kyle and Annie are in conflict over nearly every issue.”

‘She’s told him she will only consider giving it another go if he gives her half of his money first.

‘She’s been told she’s entitled to half of his wealth if they split — and doesn’t want another penny of her share going to Lauryn.’

The insider also disclosed that the couple has consulted solicitors regarding a financial arrangement.

Walker, who played for Manchester City in their recent 1-1 draw against Newcastle, is reportedly amenable to providing Annie with the funds to ensure financial stability for her and their children.

The source further noted that this has been a difficult time for Annie, who is contemplating filing for divorce due to concerns that their marriage may be beyond repair.

Walker was asked to leave the family home in January after Lauryn contacted Annie shortly after Christmas to inform her that Kyle was the father of her second child, Kinara, in addition to the older boy, Kairo.

Annie, who was pregnant at the time, was understandably upset upon receiving this news.

Although Walker was present for the birth of their fourth son, Rezon, the couple spent the summer living separately, as he relocated to an apartment in Manchester.
