Kylian Mbappé’s departure from Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the current season has been officially confirmed. This announcement was widely expected, considering the persistent rumors surrounding his imminent transfer to Real Madrid.
In a sincere video message that he shared on various social media platforms, Mbappé expressed his heartfelt appreciation to his former teammates, coaches, and the entire PSG community. He emphasized that they will forever occupy a significant place in his heart.
Having initially joined PSG on loan from Monaco in 2017, Mbappé made his move permanent the following year.
During his time at PSG, he achieved remarkable success, scoring a record 255 goals in 306 appearances and winning multiple Ligue 1 titles and domestic cups.
Although he fell short of securing the Champions League title, his legacy at the club is undeniable.
As a farewell gesture, PSG is expected to honor Mbappé with a special tribute during his final appearance at the Parc des Princes this Sunday, when the team faces Toulouse.
