A Nigerian lady initiated a conversation on social media when she pleaded for assistance in finding a room, after her apartment was flooded and her belongings were destroyed.
The video was shared on her TikTok page for public viewing.
The chair, shelf, bed, and several other items both in the room and in the living room could be seen soaked with water as the water level continued to rise.
The video showed the woman inside a room that was already flooded with water.
The water also got into the kitchen, soaking many of her cooking tools including pots and plates.
Shortly after posting the video online, she sought assistance from those offering her a place to stay.
Soon after it was posted online, worried people poured their opinions into the comment section.
